Question posted in the Insurance Law category relating to Western Cape
Good day.
My brother had a funeral policy with Absa, 1Life and Outsurance and now he has passed away in a car accident. I am his sister and I wanted to claim so that I can make preparations for his funeral but I was told to make a letter of executorship because there is no beneficiary in his two other policies which are Absa and 1Life. But now the problem is that the letter takes long to be done and we depend on this policies in order for us to be able to bury him and it has been three weeks already since we cannot continue with his funeral.
Please help, what can I do in this situation?
